OT:Bump limit?

What do you guys reckon is the limit of bumps for a thread? I've bumped twice but got no answer. I'm thinking that either my issue is too boring or those in the know haven't logged on recently. I don't want to bump again and annoy everyone.

sometimes it just takes a while for the right person to answer. so long as your question is on the first page it's got a shot. if it falls down to second or (gasp!) third, keep bumping it. someone will respond.
