    Default Hello and a plug

Thought I'd drop a couple of lines to introduce myself, have been lurking for a while, thought I'd start posting.
I'm a 30 year old bloke, live in Kent in England and have recently picked up an E34 525i, late model with the wider front grill in Black. Have already retrofitted an OBC (with a little help from what I've read on here, thanks guys) and I'm loving this car, she's my baby!
This is my second 5 series beemer, the first was an E28 525i which, when I got it, I felt the same about as I do this new one but now she's rotting away, which brings me to my point, I have a whole car's worth of E28 parts that need a new home before she gets cubed, some parts are already on ebay the rest I'm open to offers on so if anyone needs anything drop me a line.
Sorry if I've bored anyone with my saga of a first post but I'm glad to be part of what seems to be a great board and hope I can help someone out at some point. Oh, and the beers are on me!
    Cheers,
    Les.

How do you go with tax over in the UK Les? Isn't there some weird rule about cars over 2ltr? In OZ we have a saying, "Only milk and orange juice comes in 2ltr" I see you have a sweet M50 525i. Enjoy it and welcome to the madness.
    Cheers

I don't fully know how it works myself! I believe anything over a 1.4 pays the higher rate, I've never had anything under so I'm not totally sure, newer cars have some screwy system based on emission levels or something.
The biggest price difference in owning a 2.5 over here is the 90odd pence per litre we pay for petrol!

And thanks for the warm welcome everyone.
