That sucks, what other chips are out there? And has anyone had any good experiences with the other makers?

Email Mark!! He may have a chip for you. If not, he may be able to make one.

I have personally spoken to Mark and have continued with the stock chip. There are apparently complicating factors with the 530ia that have kept an optimal chip from being developed and marketed. If you are geographically close to Mark, he may be able to map your stock chip and get a replacement prepared for you but I don't think that chip will be a universal replacement for other 530ia owners..........

    I've been patiently waiting myself.....

Right, Mark said if he had a local 530 to play with he could make one but without he cant experience first hand whats going on...or something like that.

Until he makes one you can use the JC chip like I have, no problems and a lot more top end, no low end like Marks proto chips but still a decent upgrade.

    Jeff,

in mid to late March (or sometime in April) I'll send you a new prototype to test out!
I have to finish work on one of my firmware contracting jobs till then.
I have to work like made to have the firmware ready for a demo in March. Here's the product I'm working on e-SYNC
