    Default Overflow Tank Question

At what time should there be fluid returning to the overflow tank?
I assume that it should be visible?
    Thanks in advance.

Isn't it when the car is hot enough for the thermostat to open and fluid to start circulating?

    About 8.30.

    Just kidding.

When the thermostat opens, I think, is when you should start seeing fluid flow.

LOL, I thought it was on the strike of midnight... I doubt it can be seen too easily though, most tanks are fogged and internally covered with crap. Perhaps just make sure its topped up? I doubt the tank's feed pipe would get blocked, its the only place for the pressure to go...

Oh, I assumed he meant 'visible through the open cap'. You wouldn't see anything happening from the outside, probably.
