I want to install a new radio ,but I was wondering if it would mess with the stock alarm?Since the alarm light is on the radio isnt it?

The O.E.M. alarm should have a red LED and a Mic. at the end of the center console, below the rear vent, and it is an option for the 525 and 530. The light on the radio just for the radio and nothing else. So you can change the radio and nothing should be affected.
thats weird.theres only the one on the radio ,but I know its got an alarm since ive set it off b4

Don't confuse your car's alarm with the radio's anti-theft feature. They're two seperate systems, as far as I know, and you can remove the latter without ill consequences.Originally Posted by mystical_wings
