Default Replacing rear rotors/brks on E46

I am about to replace the REAR pads and rotors on my wife's 2000 323i sedan. I've replaced plenty of brakes in my time but have never worked on this vehicle. Is there anything out of the ordinary that I need to take into consideration (i.e. tools, sensors, etc.).

    Thanks for any/all help,

    John

Straight forward, shouldn't take more than an hour the first time around. You'll need a few hex keys 5/6/7mm, and I believe the carrier brackets are 16mm head bolts. If you live in a snowy area that uses salt, knock the rotor's hat a few times with a hammer to help loosen things up around the rotor set screw, then use the 5mm allen to remove the screw.

    best, whit
