In KS there's laws against people leaving their kids in a hot car, every summer they bust a few people for it. They should have canned her ass for a day, that would have been the last time she left her kids sit outside.
on second thought, wheres the brick, i'll do it myself

We got parents that leave their kids in an unlock running car-keys and all..Some crook jumps in and takes off with the kid and all.
Oh..I was only going in for a minute to pick up Chinese food, and I figured I'd leave the car running for the A/C, so my little booger eater would be cool. Didn' want him to die in a hot car.
Vee ave vays of dealing vid your kind...........
Unfair to Audi. They just sell them, they don't ask for character references first.
I have an idea. Lock her in the car and leave her.
We need to do IQ tests and hand out parental licenses to people who succeed them. Some people just aren't smart enough to have a life in their hands. Pathetic.
Years ago, my mother broke the window of a Mercedes with 3 frantic dogs in the back seat on a 105F day. I think dogs have a right to live too.

You have to take a test to drive a car, but anybody can have and raise a child. Strange world we live in.
Ridiculous, all I can say.

First I agree that the emergency people should just break the window and remove the child. No hesitation. However, after googling a bit, I found some differing opinions. She was only 1.5 miles from home. IF and a big IF, if the child was in no danger/stress, I can see her offering an alternative to car damage. I can also see the emergency people properly saying no. However, I think everthing got off track at this point.
I bet she threw a fit and they then arrested her. Now she sues because the police say she valued the car over the child. She says she was defamed without reason and wants her day in court.
She may be correct simply because she offered what she thought was a logical solution and was turned down. Where she went wrong was to get aggitated/upset enough to get arrested. Police /emergency people/media may have went wrong in saying she valued car more than her child.
The court system should have fun with this. Watch the media.
BTW, just an observation. Please do not flame me
