Default A better E34 subframe bushing?

This ebay seller claims their E32/E34 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-E...QQcmdZViewItem subframe bushings to be much heavier duty than OEM.
Has anyone tried these units? ... or is this 'old news'?

I've never come across these before. You can reinforce the stock bushings with liquid urethane or just get some polyurethane ones made up instead.

    Default Another Alternative

is to 'reinforce' an OEM bushing with polyeurethane like the E28 guys do:

That ought to firm things up!

Has anyone tried this on an E34? Just curious as to how much firmer the ride gets.

Also check out the creative use of a Swazall to remove the old bushing:

I reckon it's a scam. They look like the standard mount with a sticker on it for the eBay ad, Double the load??? how?? can anyone say what the difference is? It smaks of deceptive advertising... (but I bet Kai over at ebay.de would know)

Beleive it or not, these are NOT a scam Nick. I was looking over at mye28.com and they acutally do exist! COOL

Normal bushing on the right, upgraded bushing on the left. and if you cross reference the part number the seller gives you, it comes up properly on ETK. There's a few dudes in Sydney who want their subframe bushes replaced, so now I need to borrow a subframe bushing removal tool. Who wants to lend one to me?
