    Default Does anyone know?

    What engine was in the 528iT in year 2000? Does it have alumi. block or iron, and single or double vanos? I always thought BMW never bring the alumi. block for the 6 cylinder into the US market, and 528 all have single vanos engine, can anyone prove me wrong?

    I seem to recall reading that all E39 sixes into the US were cast iron, but cannot be certain - more learned folk than I should be able to help you as well as regarding the vanos question.
