That base is for e36, not e34 or e32. E34 use one big bolt in the middle to mount the mirror to the door, while e36 use three small ones, like the picture show. And the wires will probably need to be longer.

NO these are for e34. They were specifically made for it. The e34 m5 had m3 style mirrors. I tested fitted them on my car. They fit exactly. This is not a universal base it is made for e34. This uses one big bolt the other ones are not bolts just supports for the | | of the mirror. They do not extend into the door. or screw into anything. Some of the cheaper ones have plastic base that interchange this is one piece of quality PUR. Same as OEM.

Located in Los Angeles. . Where'd u pic up the m-bumpers? I have a schnitzer front and m5 sides, schnitzer mirrors. I just need a rear.

I bought them from dealer, since I need to replace my old bumper cover. Insurance cover the repaint and the parts.
