I need to know what order to put the rocker arms back into the head. They are stamp numbered 1-12. So I was think that #1 goes on the cylinder 1 intake side, #2 on cylinder 1 exhaust, etc... Anyone know?
Does this look correct?
intake side
...1
...1...9...7...5...3...1 <--rocker number
/--------------------\
|..6...5...4...3...2...1..| <---cyl numbers
\--------------------/
...1...1...8...6...4...2 <--rocker number
...2...0
exhaust side

Nope, I had it backwards...
It pays to take PICS beforehand! I just found my pictures and didn't see any numbers, but i could identify the rocker arms from the defects on them that I compared to the pics.
I guess the numbers were stamped on by whoever took my head apart(not me, long story), because the #'s don't appear in the pictures I took before disassembly.
This is how they numbered them in the machine shop, however, i dont know if this is the standard rocker arm numbering method:
intake side
...1...1...8...6...4...2 <--rocker number
...2...0
/--------------------\
|..6...5...4...3...2...1..| <---cyl numbers
\--------------------/
...1
...1...9...7...5...3...1 <--rocker number
exhaust side
