there are two parallel black guides on the roof into which the actual rack is supposed to be mounted. Mine started to flake the black cover. I don't even know how to call these 2 integrated parts to start an online search. Can someone help please?

If you need those rails- let me know, I have a set from an E34 touring parts car I could sell pretty cheap.
(NOT the roof rack itself, but the 2 rails that bolt thru the roof that the rack bolts to............)
