I wonder why that is? At least at 1st look the reason doesn't immediately jump out at me. A thin wipe of synthetic brake grease wouldn't seem out of place in there. I wonder if they're concerned about grease deteriorating the rubber bushings, or about it runing out of there and dripping onto the rotor, or...?

i think it would have something to do with proper function of ABS... or something.

Grease prolly attracts brake dust, so keeping it clean & dry would keep dust from accumulating on the pins & let the caliper slide more freely.
