    Default broken wiring loom on a touring

    Look at that. That is the loom going from the "rear (trunk) door" to the chassis. The only things which apparently did not work, the trunk lid electric lock release and one electric window.

    I see, you are not registered at www.e34.de the German E34 Forum.
    That is worthwhile as they have a good tips and tricks corner under Schrauberecke. Even if you do not understand a word German, the pics help a lot to understand everything.

    drivers side loom on right hand drive all 8 wires broken...

    Hi guys
    i got a 520 Touring the other day and the glass hatch wont pop and the rear wipe wont work either... (the glass hatch did pop when i got is as the guy showed me it...)

    i have tested the solonoid and the wiper moter and both work fine
    i have also tested the glass hatch poper switch and that also works fine,

    I had to fix mine twice... Kind of a bad design from BMW, but I love my 5 SPEED wagon, but I didn't remember the car being so slow. I think the WRX spoiled me.
