Default will 5 lug e30 wheels fit on my e34?

right now, im running 7x 15 style 10 wheels. two are slightly bent. i'd love to just buy two used style 10s, but they are relatively rare, and never sold on ebay. as every junkyard around me has at least 1 e28 or e30, they have plenty of the popular wheels for those cars at american car salvage prices, so im thinking i might just pick up 4 rear (no rash that way) e30 wheels, and use them to eliminate all of the shimmy from my driveline (and then either buy 2 style 10s, or 4 other wheels). the e30 wheel im thinking of is REEEAALLL popular on the e30...the "all the bmw wheels" page is shut down, so i can't look up a style number. im thinking that i might like the price of 14 inch tires too. asthetically, also--has anybody ever tried it?

thanks for listening. i know my query might sound really idiotic, but i know absolutely nothing about wheels...but would rather have e30 wheels on my car than generic steel 15s. thanks

5 lug e30 wheels are rare, m3s (seen em on a 525 and they looked good) and IX's are it 318/325s had 4, not sure about 14" e28s fitting over the brakes, high profile tires suck for handling anyway

325iX's also had 4 lug wheels- so unless your junkyard has a bunch of E30M3's or E30's with 5 lug swaps- you'll be better off looking at the E28 wheels. They should fit just fine (well, as long as you get some to clear your brakes).

ewwww, i realised halfway through my post that some of the e30 wheels i had seen were four lugs, and then realised that probably (most) of them were 4 lug. i guess i gotta swindle somebody out of some steel wheels or find a e32 or 34 in a junkyard (not bloody likely around here), all of that stuff seems to go to michael's bmw recycling. thanks for filling me in.

I'm relatively certain the 5 lug hub is an M3 only thing on the E30. The handful of iXes that I've seen, including mine, have 4 lug hubs and high(er) offset wheels. And, of course, it's a unique hub and strut housing, so the company wouldn't likely redesign them to 5 lug for late production.

    best, whit

i'd need 4 (don't want to be rolling around with 2 rims/2 steels), and i'd kinda need them to be near new, or at least perfect, as far as wheels go, because im using them to eliminate a cause of vibration. ill see if the local straightener cant do some magic first an all 4. if not, ill hit you up, but good to know that you have something. i might need something else more than this, though. do you have a maf for a non-vanos m50? (91-92), and if you do, how much would you want for it? thanks.

Sorry bro, all E30 325iX's were 4 bolt. They did have some 15" Basketweave wheels on them that looked just like the E30M3 wheels - but only 4 bolt holes.
