not really, 540ia=282 hp, 300 hp chipped, GTO 2005 model 400 hp, at best you giving 100 hp to the goat, that quite a bit.
Ya I was about to say, a 540im or M5 with Z-rubber and lowered springs would maybe give it a run for it's money.

they are quick but no comparison at fast highway speeds like our cars...I dont like them since they seem to copy the grills from the BMWs. 2nd ex had a G Prix and it seemed very tiney sounding with the stereo being the best part of the entire car.Originally Posted by pyro

You know, with a supercharger you could bump that 525 up to 700 or 800 hp... at least that's what I've heard...Originally Posted by Scott H
Yeah - I'd like to see a 16 year old pontiac that was worth it's weight in mud. Modern American cars (of which I proudly own one, a 2002 Tahoe) are built to snap together once, work for 100k miles, then fall apart at every junction.
The side-view mirror assy broke on my Tahoe because it barely bumped the garage on the way in a few months back. GM forums I looked at revealed this to be a very common problem. Snap-together assembly that cannot be disassembled without destroying it... and to replace the whole mirror was a few hundred dollars! I figured since it wasn't meant to be disassembled, I might as well epoxy it back together... so far so good!
PS - Anyone want to buy a great looking Tahoe with 90,000 miles?
