    Hi Gayle
I took over 500 pics while in Hawaii, Cheryl took 1. Guess which one she took?

I'm glad you like it, Cheryl will be pleased.

Do you mean to say that wasn't a picture of you on the ship in the pink top and blue hat ?

On that Missouri tour I was last and to see where they had gone I just looked for the "Where's Waldo" hat.

Phil, see if this is familar.

It's a transcript of a letter my uncle wrote from Hawaii describing Pearl Harbour... a week before the Japanese attacked it in 1941.

I've been thinking about retracing his journey when he left Australia for England in 1941. He really liked Hawaii.

Some of the places and things he mentions are familiar as we also did a tour around Oahu. I can only think that the differences from 60 years ago to now would be modern high-rise buildings and better roads and such, as the places are all still there.

    thanks for that,
    Phil

You're right Kyle, I asked a guy who was stopped, sitting in one what size engine it had in it and he said he had no idea as it was a rental. Does anyone here know much about these cars?
