Just change it if all your bulbs are good.
On the way home from the store tonight, I get the message "Brake light circuit." I got home and checked and sure enough, no brake lights. All the other lights, including turn signal, running lights, and headlights are working fine. I checked the fuses and they were all fine. I checked the wiring diagram tonight and it looks like I need to check the brake light switch which is located at the brake pedal. Anyone else experienced something similar? All input appreciated since I'm going to attempt to diagnose/fix tomorrow after work.
Grace and peace,

I got the same message, and all bulbs worked too so I did the switch replacement shown here, on Bruno's site, about two years ago. The message hasn't returned. Yet. It's.....ummm....easy, yet challenging!
