Default Anyone with an auto and the occasional hard change-down...

Make sure you adjust your throttle-position switch properly (located in front of the throttle body and butterfly assembly).

I did mine, first time I didn't quite get the feel of it. My tranny has been down-changing imperfectly (when coming to a rest at idle) ever since.

Now, 6 months later I have found that by adjusting it to work a tad closer to dead idle (how close is close you might ask, there is a bit of play in the mechanism to keep you wondering...) it has improved the slight bang one can get pulling up under brakes, as the auto tranny gears down to 1st.

You only need a big philips screwdriver and to be able to listen for the switch contacting as you adjust it.

    Nick
