The Lumen output is lower for the higher colour temp ranges, in H.I.D. lamps as well as the eyes sensitivity to the higher colour temp is somewhat less. (especially as you get older......) It all adds up to what appears a huge difference in perceived light
(Personally I would say, theres not much point in going for a higher than 6000K bulb unless its just for shows etc!)
How come yours has 9006 series lamps?
