Ok. This thread should have be allowed to die a quiet death without comment, but noooo...... I just can't let it go. Brake failure of the mouth again (on my part but maybe yours too).

So what is your point? As the lone female here, I am not offended...I just don't get it. Good/better/best--They all sound bad to me.

Do you have a personal issue with one of these items that makes you want to share this and share it on a new thead rather than the joke thread? Do you have fashion issues? Come on....you can tell us.

And BimmerNut Ed--we do need some more emotion choices. Try to imagine something that is a combination of and wtf

I can see some good points raised here, but on the same token...

Do we really want skanky, bargain basement old wenches dragging themselves out of our E34s, Gentlemen??

If she wants to spend $1000 on a baby Louis Vuitton then thats cool... But as long as its from her pay cheque!! Or we are both on salaries that can easily accommodate this type of expenditure!!

Besides, if I was to buy a baby L.V for my wife/partner, she'd better not say a WORD about the M5 I buy the day after!!!

    Gone but NEVER forgotten. :'(

    And then...

Absolutely not. I don't want any skanky men getting out of mine for that matter. And I am still looking for a mechanic worthy to work on her.....

But why would any e34 owner want a woman who makes any of these choices??? They either have no brains if they feel compelled to make the high $$$ choice or no taste if they make the low $ choice.

And Nick...I always love your way with words.

Gayle, dont you think it's about time you buy some tool and do some wrenching? You will never find anyone as articulate working on your car as you would be...unless your close to another fanatic.

bedides at least youll have some tool.

Yes I do think it is about time. I am inching closer. Psyching myself up. I bought tools--a lot of them. I have been telling myself that I am really good at home repairs so I should be able to do this. I just haven't started to believe myself yet.

I am mentally developing a list of what I want to do myself. I think it is good to start with repairs that will not be fatal if I blow it. I concluded that getting to the bottom of my brake noise is probably not the place to start. I keep asking the universe to send me a mechanic buddy. I have been reconsidering your offer of phone support.

I would rather replce the brakes with a bleed than wash the kitchen floor, guess it's priorities in a way. Not to say my floors a scene or anything but between the barn and kitchen floor their close with the kitchen being a touch cleaner...Id like to do a brake job in there someday
