I get lots of folks asking me for this part (used), so I thought I'd share this info with everyone. This is the black plastic sliding strip that goes around the auto shifter shaft in the center console on E34's and E32's (see item #11 on the link above). Looks like Realoem.com shows a price of ~$3.00, so it's certainly cheap enough. Now, if anyone has actually replaced this piece, I'd like to see a brief writeup.....
