    I think US spec guards (repeater-less) would look great on a car without the US spec bumper-repeaters....

    Gone but NEVER forgotten. :'(

    The reference is to the extra turn signal lights mounted in the fender. Not the side marker lights that are part of the front/rear bumpers.

    I don't know why anyone would want them. I think without them it's a much cleaner look.

    Default looks cleaner without but...

    I like the extra notification that you are turning. I wish the mirrors had this feature as well. I even would like "puddle" lights under the mirrors when you unlock the doors. go figure!

    i like 'em, but wish they weren't so big looking. e39 sidemarkers and late e36 sidemarkers look much better.

    there was a e34 that added the e34 sidemarker where side molding piece is on the fender. looks like the marker is intergrated into the molding. looks pretty good imho.
