can I convert 520i to 525i ?

I wish there was a way to convert an E34 to use one of the new 530d engines!

i want that 3.9 twin turbo diesel, well over 300lb of torque, with a 6 speed

0-60 in about 8 sec, top speed over 150mph, motorcycle milage, silent operation... all that in an engine that can further be upgraded to accept the newer bio-diesels when environmental regulations get stricter!

It may be easier to just drop in a used M50b25tu and change the harness/DME. You have a Siemens DME and the 2.5 uses a Bosch one. Another cheap alternative for a few more ponies is my chip for the 2.0l M50 with the Siemens 5wk9002 DME. That is good for around 13hp.
