Absolutely stunning ! Wow !
Interesting though - no eye level (rear window) stop lights as far as I could see. When were they introduced in Germany ?
Here in oz my '88 E34 has one.

But when he retires I'm next on the list."
Wow, that was the best story/pictures I've seen in my life.
Wish I had a M5 and could go on a trip like that with a bunch of others ...
Gee Paul, if we shipped some of the Aussie e34s over to NZ we could (given budget and time) perhaps beat that effort. But it would be damn, damn, hard! Combined with a ski or three I think one could do it in NZ just fine. Aus can't beat it. But there are some places that in their own right would do well, the Great Ocean Road in South Australia for example.Originally Posted by Paul in NZ
What spectacular documentary, scenery and frolics they had.
If I were a BMW engineer seeing that sort of thing would make me grin after all the effort put into making these Great cars. How many e34s doyou know in NZ? We have a few here, once mine is back in the race that we'll have about 6 mustered in Sydney alone. Not so many ///M cars thoughNick
