OOOOOO perdy
all america wants is cold beer warm cat and a place to take a poop with a door on it
Check out the 1974 Aber/Fitch leather gun cases. I think I whacked 80 quail with the 20 this year. I may never use my pump again...I mean with a O/U that light, you def get your bird with the second shot. The only time a pump would be good is when another bird jumps before you've had a chance to reload.Originally Posted by winfred
My gramps died in Oct, and I'm the only hunter in my family. I got the two matching superposed's (12 & 20 shown) one 12ga citori, and one sidebyside parker 12ga (which I thought would be a $20k gun, but turned out to be worth only $800)
The cases had gun oil from the 70's, two orange dog collars, and one of his whistles. Very proud to shoot my gramps's guns. They're well used too, which is great, because there's nothing worse than showing up on a hunt with a badass gun that's all shiny and perfect. At least when you miss, you only get **** for missin...if ya know what I mean.
Here's one from the front of the truck, last day of season for me Feb 21.
No place but Texas
the only birds i've shot was black birds, my uncle had quite a problem, i think i killed 25 in one day
