dont really matter, theres lots of parts on that thing! Sounds like he isnt bragging about the transmission, thats probably the concern.

Actually I just wondered what he meant by that. If that car was near me I'd might be all over it.

Here's some additional data I learned:

The car has 270,000 miles. Owner of 5 years put on 100,000 miles (puts on 300 miles per week). Has replaced struts, bushings, heater core. Has new front rotors. He is noticing slight vibration in the front and suggests may need new front bearing.

Owner mentions it needs new tires and exhaust. Has some rust in the back. Transmission pops out of first gear.

Owner says first $800 takes it away.
