Ebay scammer UPDATE!! Taco906, Pilon28=Busted!

as you know, Taco906 was eventually banned from ebay for being a dirtbag... ( http://feedback.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI...userid=taco906 ) they then bacame Pilon28 and were up to the same old scam, shill bid/retract ********... BUSTED again!!!!

as of today, Pilon28 is also banned! (I had nothing to do with it this time!)

Today I got an email from a girl who was suckered in by Taco906... this is what she wrote...

"Hi, Could you please tell me the outcome of your car purchase with taco906? I also purchased a car from him on 9/20. Paid for the car and the next day he was removed from ebay. I picked the car up at the Ft Lauderdale airport without ever meeting him and still haven't received the title as of today. I have not heard from him since the 4th. The car was not as described but is still a good vehicle. I am concerned that the mileage may not be as the seller stated and wanted to here your story if you would care to share. Thanks, Misty"

Yes, the car was probably covered by eBay's vehicle protection policy. Get the link and let's look at it. If she didn't receive the title and it's been less than 35 days since the auction ended, she can file for reimbursement via eBay, since she has clearly been defrauded.

Man, you really took the fire to this guy, Chris! Perhaps there was more shadiness going on under the visible stuff.

Hopefully she got a bill of sale from the Taco man. If not, she's in store for even more potential problems. I think she should contact the the Florida Dept of Motor vehicles to make sure the car has a clear title. If Taco's the owner she might be able to get a new title from the DMV with the bill of sale. I remember one time at the DMV in Oklahoma there was a guy ahead of me trying to register a car he had recently bought and he didn't have a title or bill of sale. They told him it couldn't be registered and he should get the proper documents from the previous owner. He said the seller had moved to parts unknown.

Tell her if she wants to bring the car up by me I'll take a look at it and let her know whats wrong if she's interested in seriously going after the guy. I'm probably about half an hour north of her.
