It's actually my wife's family farm, been in her family for several generations.

We moved out here about a year ago, before that we lived about 30 minutes away, and would spend most of our free time here.

The cars have changed a little since that pic was taken, I hauled off about 4-5 E30's and 1 E28 for scrap in the past couple of months, and I brought in a couple of E30's and 1 E34. Haven't hauled any E34's off for scrap lately, I'm waiting for you vultures to help me pick them clean first!!

Except Bret's always kept the cows from attacking me when I've been there.

Pretty cool place. The pic only captures a fragment of it.

Odd(er) still is the approach -- driving along through what might be classified as farm country, crest a hill and whammo, out of the blue there's this pasture full of bimmers off in the distance.

    best, whit

I'll put a donation bucket next to my monitor. Check your mail around Christmas for a big, fat check!

No big difference to my scrapyard, except:

    -now cows in my one
    -place is "a bit smaller"
-no fishing house and lake in the background

I think I am going to move to another place in Japan

Wow!! Its like heaven and hell all rolled into one (with a scattering of bovine influence)!!

    SAD side:
Bavaria's best, patiently waiting in hope that maybe one day atleast part of them will once more experience the open road...

    GOOD side:
Cheap parts, photo opportunities (how cool would a immaculate BMW look parked amongst the wrecks, just as dusk closes in...), and things for cows to scratch themselves on!!

    Gone but NEVER forgotten. :'(

    And then...
