    Actually guys this vacuum line doesn't do anything to the fuel system. It goes over to some solenoid on the front right side of the engine that has hoses that connect to the air pump shown in one of the above diagrams. I'm guessing it has something to do with the air injection system that is used when the car is cold to help the cats warm up faster. My old 5.0 Mustang had something similar.
