    Just putting out a feeler, wondering what I could get for both as a package?

    Your car is in reality black, correct? It would take a special buyer to go for the art car.

    something in terms of a little more power, that m60 in my moms car is just gorgeous...I have to have one. hehehe, i spy 95 540i6. But really, I need to make some serious dough first. I'm at a loss, I can't decide if I want to put the finishing touches on my car, or start saving up for that 540...

    And the more ultimate questions. 540i6 or find a m50 non-tu with a 5speed tranny, swap those in and copy jon k.

    I just looked at kbb prices...and my car is worth about 4500-6000. Dosnt look like I'll get that 540 any time soon.

    The whole car is not for sale, just contemplating an engine/tranny swap.

    The engine and tranny (M30 3.4L and 5 speed manual) is what I'm putting up on the block for interest...

    Nah I'm really just trying to figure out whether my budget would be in reach of a V8 and tranny for swapping over in the coming summer.

    It was a 90 and went for $4600 but this is a good market for bmws.
