I just lost out on ebay.
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...me=STRK:MEWA:IT

I bid $25.00 and the reserve was not met, so I didn't get it.

Talk about Good Karma. 1st I find my part today at the junkyard for $9.45 and then I see this.

    Thank you Big Time.

    Regards,
    Joe

PS - Anyone know about these, and is it worthwhile to bid and grab these CD's. I am thinking about bidding on it. Thanks, Joe

I replied: (I screwed up original post, sorry)

How did you manage to bid 12 times ? Wanted bad , but not that bad. Good for you !!

Man I hate those reserve auctions, especially when someone wants top dollar for damaged goods. Some people are so greedy!
You can go to eBay's Half.com and get a new one for about $40.

Those factory manuals are nice ,but you need to know more about mechanics than if you bought a Bentley or Chilton type as they kind of walk you through a procedure, while the factory one gets down to the nitty gritty of it, which can confuse some none pro's. But they usually have much more info so it would compliment a Bentley nicely IMHO.
Also it does come with the ETK too, which is nice to have on your computer for quick parts referance.....

    Thanks,

    Why I bid so much????

I kept bidding up trying to find the reserve price to buy the dumb thing. I don't like reserve either, as the only way to get it is if you bid past it. The only way to bid past it is to keep bidding up.

So my first bid was $25, then I was top bidder, but had not reached the reserve. So I bid up my maximum bid in search of the reserve. I stopped at I think $32.00

    His Loss, huh?

I won a bid for the 3 Factory CD's on the E34 for $14.99, including shipping. Good info on those from what I read here.

    Thanks,
    Joe
