    seeing as I won't own a bike...that'll be easy.

Do you guys remember the very first time you rode a bike? What does it feel like. Im kinda scared to go to the motorcyle safety classes and learn..

I'm still learning how to drive my car.

Not difficult to learn. I learned to ride before I learned to drive manual. After the bike, driving a stick is ridiculously easy

Took a course many years back for about $300. Two day course.

Just try it. The freedom is incredible when you're on a bike. 60KPH feels like 100

Insurance is cheap too. Costs only $300 CAD a year for me, full coverage.

Bikes are dirt cheap too, and save gas.

Eventually, if I ever have to work in a downtown scenario (like downtown sf) ill want a bike. Plenty of parking! yay.

If you work in a downtown area, get a good scooter instead

Previous owner included them, I've held onto them.

The OEM can is heavy so it would only really be worth it to use it again if the other two were no longer up to the task.'

He (the PO) bought the Yoshimura exhaust first but said it was too agressive, the Vance and Hines SS2R is just an all around classier exhaust but I don't have any mounted at the moment... the lip where the can bolts up to has to be fixed. I personally enjoy the bike more without any sort of can, it really allows one to appreciate the single-sided swingarm and perfect Pearl White rear wheel... really looks amazing in person.

I started off on a 600cc Honda Shadow cruiser, that bike is really a lot slower and has only four gears (ridiculously short gearing too) compared to my VFR750F's six. In a lot of ways the VFR is a much easier bike to ride, to me a cruiser's ergonomics are such that mistakes are a lot more frequent because the sitting position is so awkward... in the beginning I had some very close calls on the Shadow and wisened up and started collecting gear. I now ride in a one piece leather suit with helmet, gloves, Sidi race boots, and Alpinestars back protector.

The sensation of speed is a whole lot different than a car, it's more like hanging onto handlebars instead of getting pushed back in your seat. Even slow bikes are faster than most cars.
