'92 525 need new caliper... Help!

I need to buy a new left front caliper. Broken off bleeder valve...

I would like to buy a used or remanufactured one if possible to save cost.

Are the calipers on my '92 525iT the same as a 525i? If so, what other models and/or years have the same calipers as my 525iT? Thanks.

first off, don't panic!!

Have a look at www.realoem.com - you can check see which cars use the same caliper. AFAIK, it should be the same as all other E34's, EXCEPT 540i and M5's.

Might want to check with BMA (www.bmaparts.com) to see the price on a new/rebuilt one- if nothing else, so you have an idea of cost vs. used.

If you decide to go with used- I can definitely supply you with a good used one off a wrecked parts car- let me know.
