front side windows: it used to be no tint. i think now you're allowed to run something like 90%-70% tint. you could probably even run 50% as it's not very noticable. i just went with 35% because i wanted it to match and wanted it darker anyway, but it is a risk.
back side window and rear window: any % you want. you could even paint the windows, and it'd still be legal as long as you have two side mirrors.

My car isn't tinted, although it could use it. Keep in mind, that if you have a dark interior the tint will appear darker when youre looking at it from the outisde.
Yeah, I'm running 100% tint on mine as well.. funny... I'm not sure what % I'll go, I'm just trying to get an idea of what looks good and what will serve my purpose of keeping the inside a tad cooler in the summer.
That's factory tint in the back? No way. That looks like 5% which isn't legal in most states.Originally Posted by Kakaire
I have 35% all around on my Z which is the darkest tint allowed in OR. Our 540 doesn't have any although it looks like the stock windows have some tint (probably 92%) like most factory windows.

I have 20% on the driver and passanger windows, and Limo 5% on the back doors and back window. Looks great, but it is kind of hard to see out at night if you are backing and your windows are dirty or have mosture on them. not that big of deal to me as I like the look and the protection. Most of the time you don't even have to wear sunglasses......
