-94 520 ECU fault codes

Hi.

How to detect if there are any fault in the ECU ( Engine Control Unit ) of a -94 520? And are there any codes that are displayed somewhere.

Have an increased fuel consumption and losing power.
Guess that the lambda-sond or flowmeter are malfunction.

Fel consumption are 2-4 L/100km more than factory spec both in town and on highway.

Stomp test only works on US spec cars, but not others.
As he is indicating km/Liter, I assume that the car is not a US specification car.
