That's a gorgeous car. If I hadn't recently sold one just like it, *I'd* buy it!

I bought my car from someone in Scranton Pennsylvania and drove it to San Diego. It was a really fun vacation. Besides doesn't everyone want to spend every minute of the first week they own a new car in the new car? It gives you a chance to get acquainted with it and bond with it.
This car is in Santa Barbara which is the most beautiful city in all of California. And this is the best time of year in California. I say you should buy the car, fly out and get it, spend a few days on the beach, and then take this beauty home.
It is very difficult to find low mileage 535 5 speeds. I think there were something like 600 with manuals imported to the US in 1990 (my year). Don't know if more were brought in to the country in later years but a lot of people do auto to manual conversions because the manuals are scarce. And then to find one that was not owned by an idiot who neglected its maintence. It is a needle in the haystack situation and someone just handed you the needle. I think you should take it. Just one womans opinion.
If you wish more info about my cross country buying experience, feel free to private message me.

We came to the realization that we just didn't want to plunk down 25 large on a 5 year old wagon right now. I'm just going to cross my fingers that the Strasbourg holds together a lot longer.Originally Posted by ScottyWM

Great car. All the bells and whistles. Especially with the gas situation. it gives me, IMO, excellent fuel economy and has been rather reliable.

How much are you willing to spend. I'm in Chicopee, MA. 101K miles 94 525i 5spd + many many extras. I can go as low as $7500. If you want pics.
