Packrats in paradise Part II...
Yesterday i had to go out and do a house call at a customers house up in the foothills, very exclusive area... I think this guy lives across the street..
Anyway I had to go up there because of problems with another lexus...
I get up there and open the hood and this time there's a huge packrat nest I spend 3 hours cleaning it out from the engine, remove the top cover to the motor and they got under the intake manifold and they chewed up all the wires going to 3 fuel injectors... Interesting way to bill someone for 3 hours..they only have a 2 car garage and have the park the third lexus outside where the packrats can get to it.... Sounds like this will be a steady job...

Nah, they just eat the mothballs...I've seen a number of
cars with little packages of mothballs scattered all over under the hood... I think the packrats get high on mothballs..

the big booms was a 22.250 remington, probably moving a 45 or 55 grain hollow point/ballistic tip bullet 3700-4000 feet per second. and yes i am in the planning stages of building/buying one, the smaller pops was a 223 and the wimpy ones was a .17hmr
