    Default e34 startup juddering

    my e34 (1990) 530i auto had an air leak on the inlet man' but after fixing the car was started with the air meter disconnected. (ran bad)
    now with it connected back. every time the car is started it judders like the leads are on wrong for about 1 min then runs fine can anyone please help..

    did you reboot the computer after you hooked everything back up right?

    disconnect batt for awhile, or a real reboot is when the car battery is disconnected for at least 10 minutes with a neg and pos battery cables shorted (battery is out of the loop) with the key in #2 position will cause all the computers to reset to base values
