I heard that your aluminum radiator does't like chemicals. If I were you I'd pull the radiator to flush. I'ts not that hard, plus you won't be spreading that s**t to the rest of the cooling system.

The white egg looking stuff is probably just what it looks like, egg. I have heard of people cracking eggs into their cooling systems in an attepmt to seal leaks, the thoery is that small bits of egg will clog the holes and "fry" sealing them. It may sound but its true. this also probably means that a PO had had some troubles with a leaking cooling system.

Which car of yours are we talking about and how long have you had it? If the PO was having cooling problems I'd also replace the radiator cap & thermostat. If you're getting coolant level messages, you might want to replace the level sensor while you're at it.

Did you drain the block? Did you flush the Heater Core?

When my car was leaking a while back, a friend advised me to crack an egg in the radiator... I didn't do it of course, but must be one of those old wives tales!
