Default Just did a fix for a simular problem yesterday

My gauge would also get stuck around 1/2.

It turned out the plastic cover on the sender had come loose due to a busted out mounting hole in the bottom and was interfering with the movement of the float.

Be careful when pulling the sender, those wires inside are very thin, and could easily be broken as the cover gets pushed up against them during removal.

A couple of zip ties to hold the cover to the assembly and it reads correctly.

Once again Shogun. Very nice writeup! I think I'll live with the problem I have in the last quarter of the tank for a while, though.
