Hey guys I am looking for some advise. my car is a 1994 525i and I am looking to go to 17" wheels and tires. I like the looks of the Beyern but they only come in 15mm offset, and my car uses a 20mm offset. is the 5mm differance going to make a real bid differance in handleing and ride?
thanks
Chris

5mm is nothin'
Just to be sure, before buying the wider wheels, you'll want to check the clearance between the tire sidewall and the strut. Tires wider than ~225mm may rub the strut.
I put wider basketweaves from a '95 740il on my '90 535i, and whereas the wheel offset was OK, the wider/fatter tires rubbed.
The Beyern line is from TSW, and will fit just fine. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the styling, but to each his own. Since they are 8" wide, I don't recommend a tire wider than 235mm (235/45-17 is perfect) I also have these http://www.discounttiredirect.com/pr...vkra.sm.xl.jpg available if you care in 17x8" +15 for $160 delivered brand new in the boxOriginally Posted by python1

Thanks alot guys, I purchased a set of wheels and Tires as follows:
Beyern type Mesh 17"x8" +15 and Toyo Proxes 235/45-17 they fit and look great. I now just have to sort out a vibration that starts at 50 and get worse by 55 mph and then gets a bit better by 60mph.
