Yeah, we joke here that we don't have weather (mostly 60 -70 degrees and sunny) year round nor do we have seasons in the traditional sense. We have fog-freeway pile up season (winter), mud slide season (late winter early spring), tourist season (summer), and fire season (fall).
Here in south the San Andreas fault is pretty far inland but is coastal in Josh's part of our long state. Here we get all excited when the earth rumbles and we get to feel it. If you are walking or in a car you miss it. Here it is a cool thing rather than something we are afraid of.
Our favorite saying is "just another shitty day in paradise."
