Default m50 - m50TU stupid question of the day

Is the manual trans from a M50 bolt compatable with a M50TU?

    Ebay M50 Link

Even though she is a POS... 750 for all the parts for my swap would be worth it.

Plus it would score me a engine to rebuild.

If it cannot be fixed by the dremel or ducktape.. get out the sledge...

Looks like it's been stolen by some joyriders and recovered?
Still if you can salvage what you want and sell the rest it maybe worth it.

Yeah, she be trashed... but what I need is the tranny and all the parts. I will look at rebuilding the tranny if need be... Then decide what to do from there.

I learned long ago... its better to but the entire car for the part.. then to buy the parts...

Just remember, the Getrag cars have a different crossmember than the cars with the ZF. Trust me, i've been there and you need the mounts for each tranny. I believe M50 non-vanos have the same Getrag as a '93 M50tu.
