    not bad at at all. freaking scary I'd imagine. Looks like an oil temp gauge underneath the tacho. I've only hit 200 kms. image all that wind noise. Is that the oil temp gauge. it's hitting 135? that doesn't mean much to me.

    Yes that's the oil temp gauge, and the temp looks way too high to me, the hottest i have ever seen mine in my M5 has been like just a tad over 100 and that was driving hard here in Sicily a few weeks ago on a 106 degree day. I cant imagine whats going on with that car.

    Your 535i should be able to hit atleast 235 (or 240-245 chipped). Heck, I got to 240 on the clock with a chipped 525i.

    Btw., maybe his oil level is low (or somewhere near the low mark on the dipstick), he lives in Kuwait and is running away from Bin Laden

    But that wouldn't explain low oil, he prob just stole some...don't they have heapsa oil over there???

    The owners manual says the 535ia tops out at 144mph
    Lowered with blue h&r(?) springs, Bilsteins, tint, 19# design 3 injectors, Dual Magnaflow

    why did i get the utterly useless 'mercedes-benz wannabe tarted up vacuum gauge' aka the economy gauge instead of an oil temp gauge?!
