HELP.. I am getting a hesitation off the stop sign...

I have been search old forums and can not find one that fits. The accelleration off the line is not there. I have a 1990 535 with 163000. The fuel filter was changed out in January of this year, but I didn't notice the studdering until this summer, more so when the car is cold (just started) and when it is hot (been running around town). This doesn't leave a very big window for running well. I tried the computer re-boot, but I think it might have made it worse. Hope someone here can help.

I would hook up a fuel pressure guage at the injector rail and watch idle and full throttle pressure and post back.
