    Default Engine swap

    I'm totally new to this, so excuse me if this is talk.

    Could I swap the M30 engine in my 535i for an M60 unit? Do people do such things? How, and what could it cost?

    How easy (or not) would it be to swap the tranny at the same time for a five or six speed manual?

    yeah, and i guess you mean the 4.0, because i was going to point out the 3.0m60 and the m30 have almost the same stats except the m30 has more torque i believe
