quite a lengthy article..... I'm not really ready to jump on it and try it with my car (maybe my wife's)
but an oz or two/10 gal of fuel isn't really all that much.....

Sooo the last time I used Acetone was to clean some paint off a little piece of metal set in plastic. I found out - quickly - that the acetone completely destroyed the plastic. It turned to sand - literally.
Soo.. given the amount of plastic and rubber in the fuel system, I'd say this is a really, really, really bad idea.
