Possible ///M540i sighting on my way to work

I live in Arlington, VA, right outside of DC. On my way to work around 3:00pm today, I saw a black e34 driving towards me on the other side of the road. Looking at the front I saw an ///M badge on the wide grill (which I didn't think the ///M540 had), and when it passed I looked in the mirror to see an ///M badge in front of the 540i. Was it anyone on here, or do any of you know anyone in the Northern VA area who has one of these rare e34s?

I'm thinking someone just got a couple ///M badges and put them on his car to be cool.

I've never seen that before around here....
Although I did see a white e34 M5 tonight in Alexandria looking sweet.

I see the fake M badges on the 3 series all the time but not on the 5ers
