i just put in what ever was drained out. I do know she took the whole 4L bottle last time. Like at 3.8L it read under the low mark, at 4L it reads above the high mark. how can i win? you are replacing with synthetic dexron 3 right?

i'm not replacing anything.. i had my tranny done about 3 weeks ago and about 2 litres poured out the other day.. wondering how much is the total capacity in there...
i think it's 7 litres?

Actually, the capacity is something like 6 or 7 quarts. You can DRAIN about 3 or 4 (maybe 5 if it sits overnight with the pan off), but fluid stays in the torque converter.
